第1の電極と、透明導電膜からなる第2の電極と、前記第1の電極と第2の電極との間に形成された有機発光材料層と、を備えた発光素子を有する有機ELデバイスにおいて、前記透明導電膜は、化学量論的組成より酸素が不足している金属酸化物により形成されていることを特徴とする有機ELデバイス。
