【課題】 車載機器の操作に要する運転者の視線移動を低減させる。【解決手段】 本車両用操作装置では、車室内における天井部に設けられた手かざしスイッチ20により運転席4の上方位置で行われる操作(運転者Dが頭上で手をかざす操作)が非接触で検出され、この操作に基づいて車載機器としてのマップランプ30又はサンバイザ41が制御される。このため、操作スイッチ等に直接触れて行う操作に比べ、運転者Dの視線移動を低減させることができる。この結果、車両の走行中における安全性を向上させることができる。【選択図】 図2

車両の室内における天井部に設けられ、運転席上方位置で行われる操作を非接触で検出する非接触操作検出手段と、 該非接触操作検出手段により検出される操作に基づき、前記車両に搭載される機器を制御する制御手段と、 を備えたことを特徴とする車両用操作装置。
