【要約】【課題】相対運動する第1部材と第2部材の摺動部分の摺動性と耐磨耗性を格段に高めることができるミシンを提供する。【解決手段】針棒11と針棒支持部材12との間(隙間)、即ち、DLC皮膜30とフッ素系皮膜34との摺動部分には、グリース36が注入されており、針棒11と針棒支持部材12との間を潤滑するようになっている。グリース36は、基油としてジエステルベースを使用し、増ちょう剤としてリチウム(Li)ヒドロキシステアレートを使用した。基油は40度においてその動粘度が10mm2/s(cSt)程度であり、増ちょう剤の繊維の直径は0.1ミクロン程度である。

相対運動する第1部材と第2部材との摺動部分をグリースにより潤滑するミシンにおいて、前記グリースが、基油と増ちょう剤とを含み、その増ちょう剤の繊維の直径が約0.3ミクロン以下であることを特徴とするミシン。
