【要約】【目的】 抗菌性繊維品類を、ヒトに対して安全性の高い植物性抽出物を利用して抗菌性を付与し、しかも充分に洗濯耐久性のある抗菌性を発揮する繊維品類を提供する。【構成】 茶樹の生葉または乾燥葉を乾留抽出した茶抽出物、または同材料を水もしくはアルコールで抽出して得られた茶葉タンニンを主成分とする茶抽出物を、固結剤と共に繊維に含浸し固定した抗菌性繊維品類とする。また、前記茶抽出物0.1〜5重量%と、固結剤0.5〜8重量%とを含有する処理液に繊維を含浸し、次いで加熱して前記茶抽出物を繊維に加熱固定して繊維品類を抗菌処理する。
