所定の共振周波数を有する圧電トランスと、前記共振周波数の実質的に近傍の周波数で発振する発振回路と、前記発振回路からの発振信号に基づいて前記圧電トランスを駆動する駆動回路とを有する圧電トランスを用いた電圧変換装置において、前記駆動回路からの駆動信号と前記圧電トランスの出力電圧との位相差を検出する位相検出回路と、前記位相検出回路からの位相差検出信号に基づいて前記位相差を所定の値にするように前記発振回路における発振周波数を制御する発振周波数制御回路とを有することを特徴とする圧電トランスを用いた電圧変換装置。
