【課題】タンニン系接着剤の問題点である低いpH領域での硬化を改善した非ホルムアルデヒド系あるいは低ホルムアルデヒド系タンニン系接着剤組成物およびその製造法である。【解決手段】ルイス酸触媒反応と酸化的縮合反応により硬化するタンニン系接着剤組成物であり、ルイス酸触媒反応に用いる薬剤は、電子対受容体として反応を触媒する。製造方法は、接着剤の基材であるタンニンに、ルイス酸触媒作用をする薬剤を加えた後、酸化的反応をする薬剤を加え、または前記タンニンに酸化的反応をする薬剤を加えた後、ルイス酸触媒作用をする薬剤を加え、前記タンニンを非ホルムアルデヒド系のタンニン接着剤とする。【選択図】なし
