出発点と目的地を設定する入力装置と、その間の経路を計算する経路計算装置と、計算した経路を地図に重ね合わせて画面上に表示する表示装置とを具備し、前記経路上の案内地点について、前記画面上で使用者に経路案内を行う経路案内装置において、前記案内地点の道路形態を判別する手段と、前記案内地点及び前記経路の表示を、判別した道路形態に基づいて2次元表示又は3次元表示に切り替える切替手段とを具備することを特徴とする経路案内装置。
