二次元配列の固体撮像素子と、露光時間を制御する電子シャッタ手段と、上記固体撮像素子からの出力信号を調整するゲイン制御手段と、輪郭信号処理を施す輪郭強調手段とを備えた電子的撮像装置において、撮影動作時の上記ゲイン制御手段によるゲイン値に応じて、上記輪郭強調手段による輪郭強調度を可変制御することを特徴とする電子的撮像装置。
