下記の組成物を主成分とする塗布液を感光体表面に塗布、硬化することを特徴とする感光体の製造方法。(イ)一般式 R1 n Si(OR2 )4-n で示されるシランの加水分解物(R1 ,R2 は非置換もしくは置換の一価炭化水素基、nは0〜2の整数)(ロ)コロイダル金属酸化物(ハ)R3 4 N+ OR4-(R3 は一価炭化水素基、R4 は水素、アルキル基、アシル基あるいはベンゾイル基) および(ニ)ブチラール樹脂。
