【要約】【課題】 従来の到来方向推定装置においては、相互相関係数の算出や、逆行列演算等の演算量の大きい演算があって、数百シンボル分の演算が必要であったので、これを簡便な演算で実現できる到来方向推定装置を提供すること。【解決手段】 アンテナ1、2で受信した受信信号に対して、複素共役回路17と乗算回路20によって到来方向の係数を算出し、到来方向検出回路23において、逆正接演算と、その演算結果の逆余弦演算を行なうことにより受信波の到来方向を推定する。

2本のアンテナと、一方のアンテナの信号に複素共役をとって乗算する乗算回路と、この乗算結果に対して逆正接演算を行なう逆正接演算回路と、この逆正接演算結果に対して逆余弦演算を行なう逆余弦演算回路とを備えたことを特徴とする受信信号の到来方向推定装置。
