【課題】MgFe2O4よりもさらに大きな発熱量を得ることができる粉末材料およびその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】一般式:Mg1-xAxFe2O4(ただし、式中のAは、Ca、Sr、Baからなる群から選択された少なくとも一種の元素であり、式中のxの範囲は、0.05≦x≦0.95である。)で表される粉末材料である。 前記一般式中のxの範囲が、0.2≦x≦0.8であることが好ましい。 また、前記粉末材料中の(440)面の結晶子の大きさが80〜200Åであることが好ましい。【選択図】 図1
