【要約】【構成】 液状または気体状のハロゲン化炭化水素類と微粒子光触媒とのアルカリ水性懸濁液に、好適には波長400nm 以下の紫外光あるいはこの紫外光を含む可視光を照射し、微粒子光触媒の作用によりハロゲン化炭化水素類を分解する。【効果】 太陽光を利用することもでき、低コストでハロゲン化炭化水素を無公害的に分解できる。副産物として、再利用可能な炭化水素等を得ることも可能となる。
