【要約】【目的】 安全性に優れ効率よく分解でき、しかも分解処理物の廃棄処分も容易にできるハロゲン化有機化合物の分解方法を提供する。【構成】 ハロゲン化有機化合物を、高沸点油中でカーボンの存在下にアルカリ性物質を加えて加熱し、脱ハロゲン化することを特徴とするハロゲン化有機化合物の分解方法であり、前記高沸点油は、沸点が200〜500°Cの鉱油等が使用でき、ポリ塩化ビフェニル類(PCB)、ジベンゾダイオキシン類、ジベンゾフラン類等の分解に使用できる。
