【要約】【目的】軽量で成形加工性が良いという熱可塑性樹脂組成物の特性を活かし、精度が良く特に小径感光体に好適な樹脂製の感光体用基体の製造方法を提供する。【構成】熱可塑性樹脂組成物を円筒または円柱状に押出成形した後、外周部を粗研磨する。熱変形温度110°C以上のエンジニアリング樹脂45〜85重量%と強化繊維55〜15重量%とから成る強化樹脂100重量部に難燃剤0.5〜15重量部を配して成る難燃性強化樹脂組成物が好適に使用され、小径感光体用として直径5〜50mm円筒または円柱状に成形される。
