近紫外光から可視光領域迄の光を発光する半導体発光素子と、 芳香族環を有し、pKa値が7以下のブレンステッド酸のイオンを配位子とし、前記半導体発光素子の光により発光する希土類元素イオン錯体を含有する蛍光体と、 を備えることを特徴とする発光装置。
