Claim (excerpt)：

長手方向に溝を有する半円筒状の補強部材の溝内に、中央部が裸ファイバとなった光ファイバ心線を収納し、前記溝の端部近傍において前記光ファイバ心線を接着剤で固着し、前記補強部材の中央部を蓋によって密封することを特徴とする光ファイバ補強方法。
