微生物の生育を抑制するために織物材料を処理する方法であって、織物材料に、(a)オリゴーもしくはポリマーのビグアニドまたは4.5より大のpK値を有する無機酸または有機酸とのその塩と、(b)4.5未満のpK値を有し、かつ、12個以上の炭素原子を含有する脂肪族またはオキシアルキレン鎖を含まない強有機酸とを適用することを含む方法。
