ファクシミリ装置本体と、該本体に着脱可能であり、かつ、内蔵された電源手段から各回路への駆動電圧の供給をオン・オフするためのスイッチ手段を備えたスキャナとからなり、上記本体への上記スキャナの装着に応答して上記スイッチ手段をオフとすることを特徴とするファクシミリ装置。
