【課題】外部環境によるダメージを低減して生体試料を長期間培養できるとともに、生体試料の蛍光強度などを正確に、かつ、リアルタイムに測定することが可能な生体試料観察装置を提供すること。【解決手段】生体試料の培養を行い、当該生体試料を観察可能な生体試料観察装置が、生体試料の培養を行うと共に生体試料を保持する培養容器を内部に収納して外部から内部を観察することが可能な培養室10と、培養室10内を生体試料の培養に必要な環境に制御する環境制御手段と、観察が行われていないときは、環境制御手段では制御することが不能であって観察時に生体試料に対し悪影響を及ぼし得る外的要素を除去することが可能な外的要素除去手段と、を備えている。【選択図】図1

生体試料の培養を行うことが可能で、かつ、当該培養が行われている前記生体試料を観察可能な生体試料観察装置であって、 前記生体試料の前記培養を行うと共に前記生体試料を保持する培養容器を内部に収納する、外部から前記内部を前記観察することが可能な培養室と、 前記培養室内を、前記生体試料の前記培養に必要な環境に制御する環境制御手段と、 前記観察が行われていないときは、前記環境制御手段では前記制御することが不能であって前記観察時に前記生体試料に対し悪影響を及ぼし得る外的要素を除去することが可能な外的要素除去手段と、 を備えたことを特徴とする生体試料観察装置。
