対向する2枚の電極基板に挟まれた液晶を囲うとともに前記2枚の電極基板を貼り合わせるシール剤を備え、前記シール剤の一部を切り欠いて液晶注入口を設け、前記液晶注入口の両側に前記シール剤からガラス端面に向かって延設されかつ端部が前記2枚の電極基板のうち少なくとも1枚の前記ガラス端面まで達する延設部を設けた液晶表示装置。
