Study on accretion flow of low mass X-ray binary star system

The low mass X-ray binary star is the neighbor binary star system of a neutron star with weak magnetic field or black hole and the late type star (low mass star). It radiates X-ray by mass accretion from comes and is one of the brightest X-ray celestial body in Galactic System. As in low mass X-ray binary star system accretion flow is not affected by magnetic field etc., it is suitable for searching for the structure or physical conditions of accretion disk. Recently, it has been found that accretion dick can transfer to advection dominant conditions in the black hole binary star called micro quasar. Similar phenomenon is suggested in rapid burster, which is a specific neutron binary star. Therefore, we have performed search for if advection dominant accretion disk appears in general in neutron binary star using the data of 'ASCA' by getting hint by the shape of the radiation spectrum from accretion disk. However, data indicating existence of the advection dominant accretion disk was not found. This result is important to consider what causes transition of state of accretion disk.
