Research overview:
Efficient production techniques of enzymes useful for decomposition of environmental pollutants and reduction of environmental loads are developed by applying excellent abilities of filamentous fungi such as secretion of proteins, productivity of various enzymes, and genetic mechanisms for developmental control. Also, a environmentally harmonizing industrial process is developed. These techniques are introduced into brewing, chemical, textile, furniture making and plastic making industries to contribute to environmental clean-up and conservation. (k2001.10)
