Research overview:
Since influence of acid rain to forest ecosystem is afraid, investigation and study are achieved for inflow and outflow of acidic substances and the influence of these substances by objecting forest small basin in Europe and America. As monitoring in this country, investigations are achieved with making inflow substance as center such as rain falling, rain in forest, and flow on the trunk of tree, but investigations for outflow substances objected to torrent flow are scarcely achieved. Even if torrent water quality is investigated, mass balance at small basin is not clarified since outflow water amount is not observed. Water quality monitoring for falling rain (rain outside forest) and outflow (torrent current) is achieved in falling broad leaf second grove where water phase observation is achieved to elucidate the present state of environment variation at each basin unit.
