Elucidation of characteristics and infectious conditions of silkworm disease related microorganism such as baculovirus etc. (production engineering and silkworm disease studies). Development of effective inoculation of baculovirus and purification of genetically recombined products (production engineering and silkworm disease studies). Development of production technologies of useful substances having durability by utilizing variation of baculovirus (production engineering and silkworm disease studies, entrusted to Kyoto Kogyo Seni University). Development of inactivating technology of genetically recombined virus and maintenance technology of purified environment in production facility (production engineering and silkworm disease studies, entrusted to Horticulture Studies of Agriculture General Center in Ibaragi Prefecture). Elucidation of factors relating to generation of infectious disease of silkworm and establishment of its control technology (production engineering and silkworm disease studies).
