Research overview:
Study investigates a more precise guideline of exploration of crystals that converts wavelength of laser light more efficiently by generation of second harmonic wave using nonlinear optical characteristics of these crystals, based on the viewpoint of light-to-light energy conversion technique, which is a key technology in construction of future optical information communication network. We develop the elementary technique for preparation of small-sized wavelength conversion devices using YAG laser. (k2001.10)
