As a technique of examining space utilization of large-scale sika deer population inhabiting in the Eastern Region of Hokkaido, GPS-telemetry is tested. By means of the GPS telemetry, macroscopic space utilization and microscopic habitat utilization pattern of sika deer are elucidated.
