Research overview:
Study aims to endue low content steel alloy with high strength and upgraded properties, taking the using conditions as structural materials into account. (1) Technical basis for development of high strength steel, which is superior in flexibility at the body as well as the part affected by heat of welding, in fatigue strength at the welded coupling, and in welding aptitude, is established by structure-controlled preparation of 800Mpa class steel, based on the constitution of 400Mpa class steel for general welding structure. 2) We aim at enduing high strength steel used for high strength bolts with upgraded properties. Taking delayed fracture and fatigue fracture into account and standing on the viewpoint of structure control for superior strength and processing aptitude, we establish the basis for controlling technique of minute multiphase structure, based on the fundamental reinforcing technique including solid dissolution, reinforcing processing, and precipitation.
