Components used in the next generation ultra-micromachine have been supposed to be of submicron size at the minimum. When reducing dimensions of material down to the order of submicron, however, effective assessment method does not exist for mechanical nature, which has not at all known. In this study, we develop effective assessment method for mechanical nature of metal materials of micron to submicron size and also are studying on procedure of material science for improving mechanical nature of such micromaterials.
