Research overview:
Super-high speed control system of plasma position is studied by the new approach: effective potential energy method, which can estimate both equilibrium and stability. Here, this control system is consists of plasma, hybrid coils, and power supplies. Plasma disruptions are also simulated by this method, and the way to avoid disruptions is investigated.
