Research overview:
Management direction to higher lactation and higher milk-quality standard are breaking down the feeding management before and after calving, and diseases on the cycle of childbirth are tending to increase. Subsequent culling and retirement are making serving years of dairy cow shortened, and anxiety on the shortage in the number of succeeding cow is growing. Thus the feeding management in the dry period is investigated, and feed-supply system for preventing diseases and breeding injury is developed.
