Studies on the absorption of atmospheric pollutants by tree species

Study period:1988 - 2002
Organization (1):
Investigating Researcher (3):
Research field (1): Environmental dynamic analysis
Research overview:
We have invenstigated the absorption rate, the absorption mechanism, and plant tolerance to hazardous air pollutants such as formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, and phenol. To compare the ability of tree species to absorb hazardous air pollutants, we have measured the stomatal conductance of various tree species.
