Development of heat control system using small light-weight fluid loop

Research overview:
This study investigates a honeycomb cold plate to minimize the weight of a single-phase fluid loop heat control system. Heat transfer characteristics was found for two types of honeycomb cold plates different in pipe arrangement while varying heat quantity, operating-fluid flow amount, and cold plate inlet temperature as parameters. Their weight was reduced by about 80%.
