Research overview:
Catalytic combustion is attractive as a powerful combustion method in improving combustion efficiency and minimizing the exhaust amount of environmental pollution substances. It is extremely important to elucidate its reaction mechanism. This study caries out experiment on catalytic combustion on a spherical platinum catalysis surface placed in hydrogen-air premixed gas in a microgravity field. Numerical simulation was carried out for an elementary reaction model.
