Height distributions of ozone and related minor constituents, such as methane, nitrous oxide, and nitric acid, which have great importance to atmospheric environment, are derived from absorption spectra of these molecules measured with the laser heterodyne spectroscopy which has ultra-high resolution in the infrared region. The variations of these molecules are studied using observed results.
