Experimental study on capability of aged people operating information instruments
2001 - 2001
Investigating Researcher (1)：
Recent propagation of information terminals including cell phones and personal computers have facilitated communication to, and gathering of information from, remote areas. Capability of aged or handicapped people that have difficulty of positive going out to acquire worldwide information while staying in houses is a great benefit. Aged people, however, seem to feel greater difficulty of operation of these apparatuses than younger people who have had more experiences of touching computers through such opportunity as school education. Study thus carries out psychological experiments on achievement of assignment, kind of difficulty in operation, and sense of fatigue after working, to summarize points to be paid attention to when operation of information apparatuses is learned by aged people.
