Grasping of dioxin decomposing ability of forest microorganism and development of treating procedure

Research overview:
There is the case which dioxin group is exists as the impurity of agricultural chemical. Development of diffusion prevention and contamination removing technique is urgent. Environment recovery of polluted soil is carried out with bio-remediation using microorganism. Decomposition of dioxin are tested by this study using edible mushroom that is white rotting bacteria to decompose lignin which is difficult to decompose, and using rotting bacteria which is living in soil. Screening of bacteria having high dioxin decomposing ability, examination of soil mixing procedure by selected bacteria, and grasping of decomposing ability at contaminated soil by selected bacteria, are achieved in this study.
