Research overview:
Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD) is a typical disease of transmissible dementia. We made quantitative electroencephalogram analyses and measurements of grape sugar diabolim by PET of this symptom, and observed that, in the last period, the amplitude of electroencephalogram diminishes because of a remarkable decrease of nerve cells in the cortex. And we thought that the reason why all electroencephalogram powers indicate positive correlation with the grape sugar consumption is because the cerebra; diabolism in the brain stem, thalamus, etc. is relatively maintained.
