Function of hormone-like peptides in plants
1995 - 0
Investigating Researcher (2)：
Leginsulin, a hormone-like peptide identified in plants: This 37 residue-peptide is localized in the cell walls and plasma membranes in legumes, and can stimulate protein phosphorylation activity of the 43-kDa leginsulin-binding protein. It is likely that the leginsulin is involved in the signal transduction system to regulate the growth and differentiation as a hormone peptide. We investigate the structure of leginsulin and leginsulin-binding protein, and the molecular mechanism of the interaction of them.
