Studies on the involvement of nociceptor in inflammation
1990 - 1992
Investigating Researcher (4)：
Thin afferent nerves, which contain substance P, CGRP and other neuropetides, discharges these neuro peptides when exposed to antidromic stimulation, causing neurogenic inflammation as a result. However, it is not clear how activities of the thin fiber-nociceptors affect the conditions of actual inflammation. The purpose of the study is to elucidate this point, while examine relationships with moxa cautery, acupuncture, bare hand treatment and other non-specific physical treatment methods.
