Research overview:
The collection of aerosol,cloud and water vapor data is important for investigation of the environmental change on a global scale as well as for the atmospheric correction of satellite data. By means of a multi-wavelength lidar (laser radar) we study the three-dimensional structure of aerosol particles and their temporal behavior. A similar study can also be undertaken for clouds and water vapor using MW-sounding technique.
