Establishment of calf rearing technique by early weaning on Japanese black cattle
1997 - 2000
Investigating Researcher (1)：
Rearing period of beef cattle shipped to market has a tendency to be shortened together with larger size of beefcalf. Under these situations, the cases needed for re-breeding are increasing, because of overweight by densefodder in shortened rearing period and increase of calf delayed in rumen formation. The effects of early wearing on rearing calf of Japanese black cattle are studied, and the result is provided for the shortening techniques of rearing period.
