Research overview:
Fodder for a pig contains a more amount of copper and zinc than a required amount for the purpose of diarhea prevention and growth accelleration. Most of them are excreted in excreta, so that soil contamination with heavy metals is worried in case of using such excreta as compost. Therefore, the correct amount of requirement is clarified with an SPF pig, since the environmental load can be reduced by preventing exceeded feeding through finding a correct amount of requirement.
