Study on satellite installation of soft core CPU

Research overview:
In the commercial industry research and development of SoC (System on Chip) technique that integrates signal processing or driver circuit in one semiconductor according to the progress in the integrated technique of semiconductor. By applying the SoC technique, (1) Downsizing, (2) Flexible change of design, (3) Shortening of development time are expected and very advantageous if applied to the instruments installed in the satellite. As one of the SoC technique soft core CPU of language base is counted and these CPU can be installed in SRAM type FPGA although dependence on the device may exist.Although SRAM type FPGA is inferior in the radiation resistant propperty to Anti-Fuse type FPGA, it has an advantage from the point of view of the flexibility of the soft core CPU and securing the low cost mounted CPU, if the radiation resistant property is improved. In this study, the method for securing durability as a system is investigated.
