High temperature-superconducting magnetic bearings have the huge potentials as the bearings of flywheel energy storage system due to the extremely small loss. However, the higher rigidity, the smaller loss and the better creep characteristics are needed to the realization of the flywheel energy storage system for the one-day average of electric power. In this study, the method of the realization of the higher rigidity and the higher supporting force are carried out by non-material approach. And the control methods to stabilize the rotating system are also studied.
