Research overview:
The radioactive labeled reagent is the key point of PET study promotion. C-11 labeled acetylcholine acceptor imaging reagent is developed so far, and quantitative analysis for that is examined. Synthesis of muscarine antagonist of F-18 labeled fluoroethyl-4-piperidylbenzylate is tried to obtain new labeled nervous antagonist. The relation is investigated between in vivo movement and in vitro combination ability of alkylpiperidylbenzylate, to analyze living body movement. It is considered that exterior corpus striatum dopamine D2 receptor has important role for disease state physiology of schizophrenia, and measurement for this is achieved at Hoiken enthusiastically using C(11)FLB 457. In the study, the receptor combination ability of C(11)FLB 457 should be obtained quantitatively with good accuracy. Accuracy evaluation of various quantitative procedure for the receptor combination ability of C(11)FLB 457, and study for optimum quantitative procedure are achieved as the cooperative study with Hoiken, using know-how of the quantitative procedure methodology of the Institute.
