Investigating Researcher (1)：
A continuous recombining plasma is generated by expanding hydrogen or helium plasmas heated by an arc-discharge under an atmospheric pressure. The cooling property is examined for the purpose of applications to nuclear fusion engineering. Applications to laser are also examined by experiments and calculations based on a collisional radiative model.
