Research overview:
The researcher picks up rock cracks such as fracture zones, joint systems, etc. which form ground water flow passages and clarifies the cracks which have a good possibility of causing mountain slope failures, especially during heavy rain or snow melting, based on the results obtained by past long researches and investigations. Analyses of satellite pictures, air photographs, topographical maps, field survey, high density electrical resistance exploration controlled sources for audio frequency magneto-telluric sounding, water analysis, continuous water level observation, etc. are carried out in this research.
