Three of forth (3/4) of industrial wastes are organic substance, and most of them have only low utilizing value to achieve recycle such as sludge, residual of foodstuff processing, and excreta of domestic animals. High concentration methane fermentation system is developed which energy can be recovered by weight reducing of organic waste. For this purpose, efficiency improving and compactness promoting are intended by adopting high density bacteria cultivation process (UASB process and anaerobic filtering bed process), and apparatus which small and medium size foodstuff factories is developed.
