Solid wastes generated from leather industry are mainly composed of raw skin, leather scrap, and sludge of drainage processing. Most wastes except raw skin include chromium and thus are the target of serious concern for their treatments. At first, methods of effective utilization and adequate treatment of leather scrap are investigated.
