Study and survey of structural analysis for constructing cost and assessment procedure for cost compression effect in river undertakings

Study period:1999 - 2001
Research overview:
Social demands for squeezing cost of public undertaking is very strong, while it is important for properly coping with this to grasp the squeezing effect as quantitatively as possible to publish in a visible form and together to effectively carry on technical development and planning study for cost squeezing. Accordingly in the present study, we hierarchically clarify the cost structure of construction in river undertakings by utilizing database of integrated results, support so that tackling toward cost squeezing at the planning state can efficiently be conducted, and together to provisionally calculate and evaluate effects of individual R&D etc. on the total cost and give proposal regarding the way that effective technical R&D should be from the viewpoint of cost squeezing. In the fiscal 1999, we arranged contrivance of cost squeeze, clarified positioning of the present study, and together conducted grasp of actual state of cost structure in river construction and correlation analysis between factors composing construction cost and cost squeezing measures.
